Welcome to my Blog!
Here I will be writing about Web, Video and all things Creative.
Like writing, for example. But more about this later.
Why Web, Video and Creativity?
Well, simply because these are the things I am passionate about.
And also, because they are deeply interconnected.
The world becomes more and more virtual and interactive.
The Web has transformed into the biggest cinema in the world.
With millions of videos uploaded and millions of viewers watching them every day,
the Creativity just flows out of your monitor.
Of course there is no video without a story.
A story is the heart of any movie.
Long or short, cheap or with a $100 million budget,
without a story it's just a bunch of clips.
Writing stories is a skill and that means it can be learned and improved upon.
Some people are naturally good with words and composition,
while for others it's a nightmare to even write a letter.
If you are like the former, then you better keep reading,
because I have some interesting information for you.
Before that though, I want to present you one of my short stories.
It's a kind of inspirational/philosophical analogy
about our own self will and the ability to see things on a higher level.
Hope you enjoy it. And feel free to post a feedback if you wish.
It's quite short (1 min 20 sec), but if you're on dial-up, press the play button, then after it starts loading, press pause and
go make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. When the red line below the image reaches the right side of the bar,
it means it's ready, so press the play button again.
I made this story into a video for one very specific reason: it was to be submitted to the "Be the Next Best Selling Author" competition. Even though I am very far from even calling myself a writer, I wanted to give it a try. Especially since the competition is run by a world class marketer Mark Joyner. He's an expert on marketing, but he also wrote a few books, and many of them became Best Sellers. He knows what he's talking about.
This competition is not so much about how good a writer you are, although it definitely helps. It's a chance to expose yourself to the public , make connections with people, test some things, and maybe win the competition! But even if you don't win, you get a gift just for participating - "Speed Writing Live Training with Richard Webster and Mark Joyner ($147 Value)".
Ok, you are probably want to know more by now, so just go to: http://www.bethenextbestsellingauthor.com/ for a full explanation.
But before you leave, please, take a moment to bookmark this page.
Because my next post will be about 'Ways of Making More Money in 2008'.
Yours in Success,
Mykola Kindrat
